Renaissance City Renaming Act

Whereas, Certain Cities could use more fitting names;
Whereas, Aberdeen is a city located on the coast of Scotland between Dundee and Inverness;
Whereas, Real Dublin is a city in Ireland;
Whereas, Cille Chuimein is the Scottish Gaelic name of a town located at the shores of Loch Ness, on the opposite side from Inverness;
Whereas, Carmarthen is a town located roughly between Cardiff and Aberystwyth and along one of the largest rivers in Wales;
Whereas, Argyll, though not a town, is a coastal region in Scotland featuring some of Scotland’s most notable forests;
Whereas, Calais is a French city located directly across the English Channel from Great Britain;
Whereas, Galloway, though not a town, is the southernmost region of Scotland, containing a south-west reaching peninsula;
Whereas, Stirling is a city near Edinburgh, which once served as a royal stronghold and capital of Scotland;
Therefore, be it resolved:
Section 1: City Renaming
- The name of the current City of Dublin shall be changed to Aberdeen.
- The name of the current City of Rennes shall be changed to Dublin.
- The name of the current City of Penzance shall be changed to Cille Chuimein.
- The name of the current City of Douglas shall be changed to Carmarthen.
- The name of the current City of Nantes shall be changed to Argyll.
- The name of the current City of Ramsey shall be changed to Calais.
Section 2: Future Cities
- The name of the next City to be settled in South Alba shall be changed to Galloway.
- The name of the second next City to be settled in South Alba shall be changed to Stirling.
