Extended Habitat Protections Amendment

EHPA

Purpose: To expand natural habitat protections beyond Celtic borders

Whereas, The world’s natural state deserves to be protected;

Whereas, The current regulations offer no protections to features outside Celtic territory;

Therefore, The Sacred Environment Act (Law #28) shall be amended:

The Sacred Environment Act

Purpose: An act to preserve the environment for future generations.

Section 3: Habitat Protections

  1. The President or Streamer shall never remove any natural feature unless it is both within the borders of a Celtic City and within a distance of three (3) tiles from the City Centre of that City.
  2. Once the Fertilizer Technology is researched, the Reforestation Worker designation shall be established.
  1. There shall always be at least one (1) Celtic Worker designated as a Reforestation Worker.
  1. If at any time there is no such Worker, then the President must designate one (1) Worker as a Reforestation Worker.
  1. If no Worker is available the President shall promptly acquire a new Worker to designate as a Reforestation Worker.
  1. Whenever a Reforestation Worker finishes an ordered task, they shall be directed to Plant a Forest on a tile which fulfills all of the following requirements, if any such tile exists:
  1. The tile is within Celtic borders
  2. The tile is at least four (4) tiles away from the nearest City Centre of a Celtic City.
  3. The tile doesn’t contain a natural feature
  4. The tile doesn’t contain an improvement
