Ancestral Round Table Highland Unity Regulation

Whereas, Our nation’s most accomplished individuals deserve to be recognized with respect towards ancient traditions;

Whereas, Providing unique names to our units shall help with record-keeping and identification;

Therefore, be it resolved:

Section 1: Round Table

  1. The Round Table shall be established as an official body.
  1. The Round Table may also be officially referred to as the Table, The Druidic Circle, or the Circle.
  1. The government requests that Moderation create a Discord channel for the Round Table, where only Knights, Druids and the Lord or Lady Presiding may post messages.
  2. The Round Table shall consist of Knights and Druids.
  1. In order to obtain the title of Knight or Druid, a citizen must be nominated by another citizen and approved by a vote of the Commons.
  1. Each nomination shall be made by submitting a motion to a Commons session, unless the Speaker provides an alternative method.
  2. A citizen may not be nominated if they already hold the title of Knight or Druid.
  1. The title of Knight or Druid may be revoked by decision of the Supreme Court, by decision of the President, as a result of impeachment, or by resignation.
  1. The Round Table may advise the President on matters of military or religious strategy and investment.
  2. Certain Celtic units shall be named after Knights and Druids.
  1. The following Types of units are eligible to be named after Knights:
  1. all military land units;
  2. Great General;
  3. Great Admiral;
  1. The following Types of units are eligible to be named after Druids:
  1. Missionary;
  2. Inquisitor;
  3. Great Prophet;
  4. Great Artist;
  5. Great Writer;
  6. Great Musician;
  7. Great Scientist;
  1. Units which are given a unique name authorized by another law shall not be eligible to be renamed after Knights or Druids.
  2. When a new eligible unit is acquired it shall be named after one of the Knights or Druids.
  1. The unit’s new name shall contain a title chosen by that citizen and their name in their preferred form.
  1. The citizen’s choices may be adjusted if they break requirements for unit names.
  2. Typical titles include “Knight”, “Druid”, “Sir”, “Dame”, “Lord”, “Lady”, or no title. The President may permit other titles at their discretion.
  1. The President may choose which Knight or Druid to name the unit after, following certain restrictions:
  1. Once a unit is named after a Knight or Druid, no other unit will be named after the same citizen as long as the first unit exists;
  2. A Knight or Druid who has never had a unit named after them shall be prioritised over those who have;
  1. The renaming shall be omitted if there is no Knight or Druids that the unit may be named after.
  1. If at any point there exists an eligible unit which has never been renamed, it shall be renamed following the same restrictions.
  1. The President may appoint a Lord Presiding or Lady Presiding, who shall be tasked with maintaining lists of current Knights and Druids, organizing discussions of the Round Table and relaying the Round Table’s advice to the President.
  1. The Lord or Lady Presiding shall be appointed only until the end of the term.
  2. The title of Lord or Lady Presiding may be revoked by decision of the Supreme Court, by decision of the President, as a result of impeachment, or by resignation.
